The TUNPROTEC system from VID Fire-Kill has been developed for the protection of roads, rail and similar infrastructure including new and pre-existing tunnels using low pressure watermist. Using their years of knowledge and experience creating reliable and high quality low pressure watermist products, VID Fire-Kill have ensured that this design is easy to install, simple to operate and has low requirements for maintenance.
The TUNPROTEC system has been tested against full scale tunnel fires including solid fuel fires up to 250MW, as well as undergoing further tests to ensure that it is capable of the high level protection that VID Fire-Kill products are known for.
